<p>Zenon is delighted to be commissioned by one of the UK’s Premier FBO & Maintenance Repair Organisations to source a Quality Manager – Postholder for their facilities based in Stansted.</p> <p>Reporting to the CEO and Managing Director you will be responsible for assuring that the MRO performs maintenance in accordance with the relevant regulations and ensuring complete compliance with the procedures required to ensure the safe operational practices of the facility.</p> <p>Main Responsibilities and Duties:-</p> <p>• Monitoring the Organisations compliance with applicable regulations and maintaining a close liaison with the regulatory authorities and requesting remedial action as necessary by the Accountable Manager/Chief Executive, Managing Director, or other Departmental Managers and Staff as appropriate.</p> <p>• Monitoring of the Organisations standards set by the Accountable Manager</p> <p>• Monitor the adequacy and serviceability of the Organisations maintenance facilities and equipment by implementation of the Quality audit system.</p> <p>• To ensure the correct use and completion of all aircraft documents and Technical records by the implementation of the Quality audit system.</p> <p>• To investigate and report on incidents and defects where safety and maintenance standards may be involved</p> <p>• Responsible for the Revision and amendments of the Company Exposition and to ensure that all amendments in this exposition are recorded.</p> <p>• Ensure that copies of all amendments made to the exposition are sent to holders of the Exposition Documents.</p> <p>• Negotiation with EASA, UK CAA and US FAA and any other authority as applicable within the terms of reference.</p> <p>• Review and amendment of the M.O.E including the scope of work (1.9) and capability lists.</p> <p>• The examination for and issue of Company certification authorisation in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Company M.O.E</p> <p>• The raising of a Quality Audit Programme to cover Base and Line Maintenance activities and to delegate the approved inspectors to carry out the audits in accordance with the Quality Audit procedures; and to audit such a programme, to ensure that non-compliances and poor standards are brought to the attention of the Manager/Supervisor involved.</p> <p>• To maintain technical personnel records in accordance with PART-145145.A.35 and for signatories under UK A.N.O.</p> <p>• To assess external specialist services required to be used by the Company in the performance of maintenance.</p> <p>• To assess sub-contractors for extension of the quality system and maintaining the expertise necessary to be able to do so, to the satisfaction of EASA, UK CAA and US FAA.</p> <p>• To monitor and assist the development of aircraft maintenance programmes where this function of Airworthiness co-ordination has been delegated to the organisation by a certified commercial air transport operator.</p> <p>• Assisting in all matters pertaining to the work of the Quality Assurance Department.</p> <p>• Assist in making provisions for training of Quality Assurance staff</p> <p>• Liaise with production management, supervision, and shop floor personnel with regard to Quality and Airworthiness matters.</p> <p>• Originate Quality plans covering specific customer projects.</p> <p>• Constantly monitor existing systems and recommend changes and/or originate new systems.</p> <p>• Monitor sub-contract/supplier records and ratings.</p> <p>Minimum Skills and Experience:-</p> <p>• Broad operational knowledge and experience in the functions of an Aviation operation or MRO;</p> <p>• Have at least 2 years' experience in quality management system activities including quality audits;</p> <p>• Formal qualification in Quality Management of at least lead auditor level or equivalent;</p> <p>• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of Quality and Safety Management principles, including SMS</p> <p>• Have broad experience in aircraft maintenance</p> <p>• A comprehensive knowledge of local authorities regulations, MRO organisations, Expositions, Maintenance Procedures Manuals and Quality Systems.</p> <p>• An understanding of SMS systems would also be an advantage</p> <p>• Possess excellent analytical, administrative and organisational skills; with a strong passion for safety and quality.</p> <p>Why Choose Zenon Aviation?</p> <p>In the ever changing and dynamic market place, Zenon Aviation knows that the support and care we provide to candidates is vital in assisting you in achieving your career aspirations.
