Commodity Manager (f/m/d)

<p>The jobholder (f/m/d) is working as a Commodity Manager Detail Parts (f/m/d). Commodity Management requires a strategic and robust plan to ensure that both value and risk are managed correctly and innovation is encouraged. The jobholder will work with Multifunctional Teams - MFT (with members from different functions like e.g. Engineering, Finance, Program, Quality etc.) to secure the successful management of the commodity.</p> <p><strong>This are the main tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contributing to the definition, consolidation and development of the commodity strategy (market analysis, spend, key suppliers, cost drivers) in close cooperation with the key stakeholders members of the MFT (Multi-Functional Team) with strong focus on Composite Detail Parts</li> <li>Maintaining a highly effective worldwide supply base in line with Commodity strategy</li> <li>Driving the tender and supplier selection process for the commodity products, including</li> <li>the generation of Selection Reports and the associated contracts</li> <li>Negotiating agreements &amp; contracts for commodity products, and continue with monitoring contract compliance, claim management and support to escalations from Supply Chain</li> <li>Lead and contribute to Procurement/ Value Creation projects &amp; initiatives that aim at delivering synergies and savings</li> <li>Driving SED (Supplier Evaluation Development) and manage suppliers' relations for strategic matters</li> <li>Working upstream with Design Office on new development projects as well as modifications to current ones by bringing the strategy, market and commodity knowledge/view in order to provide innovative, cost effective and secured solutions, ensuring early involvement into new programs development/bids</li> <li>Identify and implement savings projects in all areas.</li> <li>Creating a network within Airbus Defence and Space in order to identify and implement synergies across the board</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in an international team</li> <li>Proactive and independent way of working&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Educational requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Engineering at least a BSc or higher or</li> <li>Economics Engineer at least a BSc or higher or</li> <li>Business studies at least a BSc or higher or</li> <li>Supply Chain Quality at least a BSc or</li> <li>Economic science&nbsp;at least a BSc</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 3 years in Procurement / Purchasing&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in Supplier Management is necessary</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>IT</strong></p> <ul> <li>MS-Office</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Languages</strong></p> <ul> <li>English</li> <li>Spanisch or German would be a plus</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Tourism link</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.triphobo.com/places/taufkirchen-bavaria-germany" rel="no-follow">Taufkirchen Tourism, Germany | Taufkirchen Trip Planner, Taufkirchen Travel Guide &amp; Tips: Triphobo</a></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>EU passport ideally, otherwise we can help you obtain a work permit</p>
