<p>Babcock delivers critical and vital aviation services to the civil and defence sectors with unrivalled expertise. Our skilled engineers, ground support staff and training instructors deliver military flying training, air station support and integrated engineering services to armies, navies and air forces in Europe</p> <p>We are now seeking highly motivated and driven individuals, who are enthusiastic about a career in aviation engineering, and wish to join our dynamic Apprenticeship scheme in 2022.</p> <p>What are we looking for?</p> <p>Candidates should hold a minimum of four Standard Grades (Level 1 – 3) or GCSE (A – C) or equivalent including English, Maths and a Science subject plus one other or; Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player</p> <ul> <li>A passion for aviation and engineering is a must and any experience with mechanical or electrical equipment would be an advantage</li> </ul> <ul> <li>You must hold a valid passport to be able to travel unrestricted across our network and successfully pass a CRB check</li> </ul> <ul> <li>You must have the legal right to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for the past 3 years</li> </ul> <p>The Position</p> <p>Initial Training will be conducted in Cotswold Airport and the permanent job role is at Gloucestershire Airport Qualifications you will obtain include: Level 3 CAT A Mechanic Apprenticeship, Level 4 Certifying Mechanic Apprenticeship, First Aid at Work, and CAA Part 66 CAT A Modules Example roles that apprentices have gone onto: Licensed Engineer, Shift Supervisor, Continuing Airworthiness Engineer</p> <p>To Apply</p> <p>Please submit an online application by clicking Apply Now.
