<p>We are recruiting for the position of Flight Safety Officer for our client L3 Harris, one of the world’s leading Airline Academies.<br /> <br /> Our client, L3 Harris is an agile global aerospace and defence technology innovator, delivering end-to-end solutions that meet customers’ mission-critical needs.<br /> <br /> Flight Data Services is a division of L3 Harris Commercial Aviation, and was established in 2000 when our Client recognised a need within the aviation industry for global outsourcing of Flight Data Monitoring (FDM).<br /> L3 Harris prides itself on being an industry-leader in flight safety innovation. Their expert knowledge of flight data, aviation safety, and information technology is delivered to aircraft operators globally. L3 Harris is the largest dedicated provider of flight data analysis services and their qualified and experienced flight safety specialists include the highest ratio of analysts to aircraft in the aviation industry.<br /> <br /> As a Flight Safety Officer, you will support the Flight Safety Manager and provide safety officer services to the safety systems and flight data monitoring programs of Flight Data Services (FDS) customers.<br /> <br /> Please note: L3 Harris Commercial Aviation do not provide a visa sponsorship for this role. All candidates who wish to apply for this vacancy must have the right to work in the UK in order to be considered.</p> <p>Role Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Right to live and work in the United Kingdom</li> <li>Undergraduate degree preferably relating to an aviation / technical discipline</li> <li>Analytical and statistical skills, including the use of PC statistics packages</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal English communication skills</li> <li>Strong numerical skills with analytical and logical mindset</li> <li>Able to work independently and decisively under pressure</li> </ul>
