[<em>Taufkirchen is a small community south of Munich, near Oberhaching and Unterhaching in Bavaria, southern Germany. The Realschule is named after Walter Klingenbeck. In general, the German location of Airbus (formally EADS), is considered to be in the neighbouring community Ottobrunn, but most of the ground area belongs to Taufkirchen</em>].</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Tasks</strong></p> <p>The jobholder (f/m/d) is working as a Commodity Manager Detail Parts (f/m/d). commodity<br /> Management requires a strategic and robust plan to ensure that both value and risk are managed<br /> correctly and innovation is encouraged. The jobholder will work with Multifunctional Teams - MFT (with<br /> members from different functions like e.g. Engineering, Finance, Program, Quality etc.) to secure the<br /> successful management of the commodity.</p> <p><br /> <strong>These are the main tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contributing to the definition, consolidation and development of the commodity strategy (market analysis, spend, key suppliers, cost drivers) in close cooperation with the key stakeholders Members of the MFT (Multi-Functional Team) with strong focus on Composite Detail Parts</li> <li>Maintaining a highly effective worldwide supply base in line with commodity strategy</li> <li>Driving the tender and supplier selection process for the commodity products, including the generation of Selection Reports and the associated contracts</li> <li>Negotiating agreements & contracts for commodity products, and continue with monitoring contract compliance, claim management and support to escalations from Supply Chain</li> <li>Lead and contribute to Procurement/ Value Creation projects & initiatives that aim at delivering synergies and savings</li> <li>Driving SED (Supplier Evaluation Development) and managing suppliers' relations for strategic matters</li> <li>Working upstream with Design Office on new development projects as well as modifications to current ones by bringing the strategy, market and commodity knowledge/view in order to provide innovative, cost effective and secured solutions, ensuring early involvement into new programs development/bids</li> <li>Identify and implement savings projects in all areas.</li> <li>Creating a network within Airbus Defense and Space in order to identify and implement synergies across the board</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in an international team</li> <li>Proactive and independent way of working</li> </ul> <p><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Educational requirements</strong><br /> Engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Industrial engineer at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Business administration at least a bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Supply Chain Quality at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Economics at least Bachelor's degree</p> <p><br /> <strong>Work experience</strong><br /> Purchasing at least over 3 years experience<br /> Experience in procurement is necessary<br /> Experience in supplier management is necessary</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions</p> <p><br /> <strong>linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> Spanish or German would be a plus (ie take Crash Course to be more favourably considered)</p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>EU passport required, otherwise we can support / sponsor you for a Work Permit</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other information</strong></p> <p>https://welcome-center-germany.com/category/lifestyle/munich/</p> <p>https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Tourism-g1586623-Taufkirchen_Upper_Bavaria_Bavaria-Vacations.html</p>
