<p><strong>DOA Management & Expertise Engineer (f/m/d) - <u>Newly qualified graduates welcomed !</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> <strong>CVs are required in English!</strong><br /> <strong>The position is also suitable for graduates!</strong></p> <p><br /> The transversal and multinational team is based in Germany (Manching) and Spain (Getafe).<br /> mission of the Design Organization Approval (DOA) Management & Expertise team is to perform the<br /> Activities to obtain, manage and maintain the Design Organization Approvals. In framework of thesis<br /> activities the DOA Management & Expertise Team acts as interface between the costumer and the<br /> Airworthiness Authorities for all DOA related topics. This includes the demonstration of compliance to the<br /> applicable DOA requirements and regulations as well as the development of program specific<br /> amendments in cooperation with the Airworthiness Authorities.</p> <p>As part of this mission, the jobholder is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the required<br /> documents, procedures and authority cascade of the Customers Design Assurance System to<br /> continuously ensure compliance with the applicable Airworthiness Authorities regulation. It is<br /> important to ensure the completeness and correctness of the Design Organization Manuals (DOM) and<br /> the Compliance Check List (CCL) together with the associated procedures, methods and tools. This<br /> requires to exchange and align with a number of costumers internal engineering and leadership<br /> stakeholders in order to cover the latest information from the key functions of the design organization<br /> and have the overview of the Design Assurance System implementation in the various engineering<br /> departments.</p> <p><br /> As the DOA specialists within the company the jobholder will take the lead, together with the team, to<br /> deliver to the design organization the right level of the DOA expertise and support.<br /> The jobholder works as a DOA Management & Expertise Engineer (f/m/d) and the main tasks are:<br /> Establish and maintain the Design Organization Manuals in close liaison with the Airbus DS internal<br /> stakeholders and facilitate the approval by the Airworthiness Authorities<br /> Ensure that the Compliance Check Lists are established and maintained in conformity with the<br /> Design Assurance System Lead and manage the process for DOA compliance demonstration to the Airworthiness Authorities Management of the cascade of the Design Organization authorities and signatories<br /> Lead the discussions with the Airworthiness Authorities to achieve the agreement of processes and<br /> Procedures related to the Design Assurance System, with special focus on those linked to compliance<br /> with airworthiness, environmental protection and operational suitability data requirements<br /> Manage the Airbus DS DOAs, obtaining new ones and extending the existing ones including new ones<br /> privileges and/or products<br /> Define Design Organization and process requirements applicable to DOA Suppliers<br /> Cascade the changes on the DOA regulations into the design organization<br /> Provide DOA expertise and support to the overall design organization</p> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> Team player and motivation to learn<br /> Reliable and forward-looking work style</p> <p><br /> <strong>Disabled applicants with equal qualifications will be given special consideration.</strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>Required studies</strong><br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Mechanical engineering at least a Master’s / Diploma / Bachelor degree</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Design Engineer at least 2 years<br /> Engineering at least over 2 years<br /> Aerospace at least over 2 years<br /> Good technical background in aeronautical engineering activities and certification processes needed<br /> Basic knowledge of the regulatory framework for design organization approvals (EASA Part 21,<br /> EMAR 21) is needed</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent German (will negotiate to drop for outstanding candidates)<br /> Business fluent English</p>
