<p><u><strong>System Safety Engineer (f/m/d) - Military Aircraft&nbsp;</strong></u></p> <p>We have a great contract with customer Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS) located in Manching, South Germany. Very rare opportunity for System Safety Engineers to step up to the next level with Airbus.</p> <p>The jobholder works as a System Safety Engineer (f/m/d) with the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Performing System Safety Assessment activities for military aircraft systems, supporting the phases during and after certification</li> <li>Generating and updating assessments (Functional Hazard Assessment/System Safety Assessment) of intended design modifications to influence the system architecture according to the required System Safety/System Integrity Performing risk analyses, according to the applicable guidance and standards, which are required to support the continuous aircraft development (including Permit to Fly/Type Certificate) Performing analyses of common-cause (particular risk analysis, zonal safety analysis and Common mode analysis</li> <li>Determine the particular safety requirements for system developments or modifications with respect to hardware and software</li> <li>Establish requests for evidence (tests, simulations, analyses), as well as Procedures and Limitations for ground and air crew</li> <li>Manage and establish integrity requirements at the interface to interacting systems</li> <li>Manage input from and output to interfacing technical domains and technology (processes, maintenance, human error, aircraft performance and quality, etc.)</li> <li>Review, approval and application of more efficient data regarding safety and reliability</li> <li>Generating the System safety Assessment documentation, based on traceable results and Evidence, as mandatory proof to acquire the Type Certificate</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> Good communication skills with an ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment<br /> Meticulous and safety oriented way of working</p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Required Studies</strong><br /> Physics at least Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Engineering at least Masters / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree</p> <p><strong>Required Experience</strong><br /> Electrical engineering/electronics at least over 4 years<br /> Engineering at least over 4 years<br /> IT / information systems at least 4 years<br /> Aerospace at least over 4 years<br /> System Safety Assessment experience would be an advantage, at least System Engineering<br /> experience with interface to safety<br /> Assessment/Airworthiness/Certification</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills<br /> Experience with Safety Tools, in particular Isograph FaultTree+ is a plus</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German would be of advantage<br /> Business fluent English<br /> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Legal: </strong>EU or NATO country passport required, and UK passport holders can start immetiately and will be sponcered for a work permit</p>
