<p><u><strong>EDRS Mission Operations Center (MOC) Operator (f/m/d)</strong></u><br /> Customer Airbus Defense and Space (AIR SER)<br /> Location Taufkirchen<br /> Planned shortlist date January 10, 2024<br /> Planned start of operations January 1st, 2024<br /> Limited until December 31, 2024<br /> <br /> <strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> ATTENTION: This is a 40h/week!<br /> An English CV is required!<br /> The job holder works as an EDRS Mission Operations Center (MOC) operator (d/m/f). The<br /> The area of responsibility is broken down in detail as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Providing all means necessary for proper, efficient and safe flight operations are required for all customers depending on the flight/deployment</li> <li>Supporting the customer's day-to-day business by responding to all customer inquiries</li> <li>Execution of operations or advice on operational issues</li> <li>Based on the results of early deployments, the evaluation of performance compared to the forecasts and publishing a bug report and updating the processes</li> <li>Final product operation/deployment, including planning, monitoring and operational</li> <li>Routine flight/mission support and emergency and emergency response implementation</li> <li>Recovery measures based on real-time data</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> Strong customer and service orientation<br /> Willingness to work shifts (3 shifts (no night shift))<br /> High motivation, initiative, high flexibility and good communication skills<br /> Ability to work in a multinational team organization</p> <p><br /> <strong><em>Severely disabled applicants receive special recognition if they are equally qualified taken into account.</em></strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Technical studies at least Bachelor's degree</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong><br /> Aerospace at least over 3 years<br /> Knowledge of satellite and/or ground segment operations is desirable</p> <p><br /> <strong>I.T</strong><br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Knowledge of IT problem solving is an advantage<br /> Linux and/or Windows knowledge is an advantage</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> At least business fluent in English<br /> German would be of advantage</p> <p><strong>Expertise</strong><br /> Knowledge of satellite communications, earth observation missions, mission operations<br /> ground infrastructure are an advantage<br />  </p>
