About this role
<p>Our client is a renowned Engine MRO in Malaysia with a production line specializing on the maintenance and overhaul of engine parts. <br /> <br /> They are currently looking for a <strong>Product Engineering Manager</strong>, whom will be directly responsible to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of engineers.<br /> <br /> This position will be based in Malaysia, and relocation will be required.<br /> <br /> <strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Leading the Product Engineering team in developing and managing repair schemes for airfoil components </li> <li>Owns the product repair lifecycle from technical development to approval, implementation, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Ensure engineering documentation meets OEM, regulatory and/ or customer requirements</li> <li>Interface with OEMs and stakeholders to understand evolving requirements, incorporate feedback, and expand in-house capabilities.</li> <li>Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections from an engineering and product readiness standpoint.</li> <li>Support cost-reduction initiatives, product yield improvement, process optimization, and repair development strategy to maintain competitive technical offerings.</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>Job Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 7 years of experience in an aerospace MRO or OEM environment, with a strong focus on component-level repair development.</li> <li>Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.</li> <li>Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification</li> <li>Familiarity with engine OEMs requirements </li> </ul> <p><br /> Please <strong>APPLY NOW </strong>if you are interested with your latest up-to-date CV.
