Head of Local Standards

<p>Zenon is pleased to be supporting one the worlds’ largest providers of Flight Crew Training in their search for a Head of Local Standards for a permanent position at their facility in Dubai.</p> <p>Reporting directly to the Manager of Pilot Training Standards Delivery you will be responsible for managing the delivery of initial and recurrent training for up to 200 instructors and support staff.&nbsp;</p> <p>Some responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to:&nbsp;</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Managing up to five Standards Instructors.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Managing the recruitment of Standards Department permanent staff.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Selection, supervision and training oversight of simulator and ground school mentors and coaches from local instructor group.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Establishing regular communication with other Local Heads of Standards to ensure standardization policies are being implemented uniformly across the network.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Providing instructor status reports to Manager of Pilot Training Standards Delivery.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Constructing local content of Training Center Instructor Performance Reviews (IPR) and assists regional development of IPRs.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Coordinating and delivering initial and recurrent instructor/examiner training.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Monitoring compliance with TCOM training delivery policy and processes.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Implementing Standards Department policy at the local level.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Influencing, promoting and implementing Change Management.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Representing both the Standards Department and local Training Center when required.&nbsp;</p> <p>To be shortlisted you will need to hold the below qualifications:</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;ATPL with a minimum 3, 000 hours multi-pilot Total Time.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Current Instructor/Examiner preferred.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Previous instructor/examiner experience required.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Management experience preferred.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent interpersonal skills.</p> <p>You will ideally have the ability to motivate and manage a team of instructors and have the desire to improve the teaching ability of others.
